I noticed this on https://status.ntppool.org/ - is that still an ongoing issue?
I’m asking, because I have some issues with https://manage.beta.grundclock.com/ - I can’t add servers and the NTP Check doesn’t work either.

Ask seems to be in the final stretches of the migration from the Equinix Metal-based back-end services to new infrastructure, so my guess would be that this is mostly a temporary hiccup while the migration is still in progress.
Do you think that the problems with https://manage.beta.grundclock.com/ (as mentioned in my initial post) could be related to the migration?
Perhaps @ask is able to provide us with an update?
I believe so. I understood he specifically moved the beta site in the morning Asia time today and had the impression it was working. He now seems aware of the issue, thus I think it likely he’ll look into it after work.
UPDATE:
I was able to add one more server to https://manage.beta.grundclock.com/, but I wasn’t able to verify it. Is that still an open issue perhaps?
As a result, I cannot add another server, because te previous one has to be verified first (which makes sense).
The NTP check now works.
Did you get a trace id for the failed verification?
Hi @ask ,
Not sure - I think not?
All I got was:
curl --interface 145.102.0.156 https://validate4.ntppool.dev/b/
default backend - 404
oh geez, the fastly configuration has routing by hostname but I forgot that the validation API needs different backends per-path.
The production API is working. I’ll fix the beta one after the weekend.
Thanks - Just let me know when you’re done.
Validation should work on the beta site again!
I’m still having issues here. Adding servers and ad-hoc NTP Check on manage.ntppool.org always ends up with:
Could not check NTP status
Ad-hoc NTP Server Test also gives the same response for our servers currently in the pool. ![]()
The servers I’m trying to add are up and running, adding them and ad-hoc testing them on manage.beta.grundclock.com works like a charm. Webwiz also confirms my servers are up and running.
Confirmed: it didn’t work on grundclock.com, now it does. But is fails on ntppool.org.
Confirmed. Works like a charm.
Thanks!
