I’ve just noticed that the CSV and JSON logs of monitor readings for my servers, and hence the graphs on the server pages, stopped updating at 04:33 today. The live scores don’t seem to be affected, though. For example, pool.ntp.org: Statistics for 131.111.8.60 currently shows a score of 14.6, but the graph only runs up to 04:33 and doesn’t show the drop in score. And the “CSV log” link goes to a log that stops at 04:33.
Looks to me your ISP or a bit higher up the path has some routing problems.
As all monitors agree.
Wait a few hours, then check again.
We were having routing problems (which was why I was checking my graphs) but I wouldn’t have expected that to cause both Firefox and CollectD to get old data from the monitoring system.
Still, they both seem to be getting correct results now (since about 17:06 UTC), so maybe that was the problem. Thank you!
Some ISP’s use proxies to reduce internet traffic to their peers.
I have seen it many times before that Proxies give old data.
How ever, Firefox does have a cache to, CTRL-F5 will force it collect a new page, instead of handing out the old one.
If you ever see this again, do a Forced-Refresh so your browser isn’t handing you cached data.
Beware of Proxies and Browser-caches. ![]()
