No history at groundclock

Dear All,

Probably everyone knows already.
pool.ntp.org: the internet cluster of ntp servers shows for every server this error for the history:
Error: Cannot read properties of null (reading ‘map’)

Kind regards
Hans

This seems to be a terribly outdated site. It claims that there is only 500 ntp servers worldwide. Probably an old Beta site?

Not sure about new or old.
I think it’s the new beta site. We can read:

Beta version for testing new features, updates and translations before they are updated on the production site.

Some days ago it was still working.

Both current and old. What’s new is that its design, and potentially other stuff is changing/has been changing recently.

Sometime, it is just some backend system having issues. But Ask also seems to be changing things on the site, despite at least the most relevant public GitHub repositories not showing any activity.

It’s the current beta site, but the list of registered NTP servers is not the same as on the production site. If you want, you can add a server only on the beta site, or only on the production site, or both. The NTP server registrations are intentionally not synchronized between the beta site and the production site.

Something is brewing. The status page shows a short break in monitoring in the morning, and the monitoring pattern is different now than before the break.

Also, I start getting 501 responses for various pages of the pool, e.g., server or country details.

Looks like I’m not the only one, phew…

Hi @MagicNTP do you mean some thing is brewing in the positive sense or not?

Rather not. Either Ask is working on something so some systems might temporarily not work as they should. Or something is already wrong, or starting to go wrong.

Anyway, you tagged Ask, so he should become aware in case the monitoring did not detect what is going on and already notified him, and he can respond to the issue as he sees fit.

Hopefully a new and better DNS and % system?
