Server from wrong country (RU) in SK zone

Hi all,
I have noticed in SK (Slovakia) zone in returned server from Russia.
https://www.ntppool.org/scores/93.171.155.1 shows this sever in EU, SK

It is really in Russia (https://bgp.he.net/ip/93.171.155.1) and it is really far away from Slovakia (routing ever worse SK - DE- RU).
What can be done with this issue?

It sounds like your DNS server is mapped to the wrong country.

What’s the output the debug box on mist.ntppool.org ?

(Or use the command line with curl, instructions on https://www.mapper.ntppool.org/ )

I think issue is with that 93.171.155.1 which is added incorrectly to sk
zone:

93.171.155.1 / ntp.intergnet.ru
Zones: @ europe sk

Server admin is hidden, I can not contact him directly.

I see what you are saying. I’m not sure why that server is in the sk zone, his other NTP server is in ru, and the hostname is .ru, and like you said the asn is ru…

I moved it to the ru pool, so you hopefully shouldn’t be fetching it anymore.
