Hello. I would like to propose that except the DNS addressess of the pool’s, would be shown also their IP addressess.
The proposal is meant for cases if the client wuold either don’t accept the pool’s DNS names or would have isdues to resolve it
Well you can always retrieve some of the IP addresses by dig against certain NTP Pool address. But since NTP Pool utilizes DNS based + weighed load balancing, there is no reason to use IP address directly; and there is no guarantee that the server IP address you picked will provide NTP service indefinitely. If the server is gone then your time will lost sync until you noticed it.
If you really need a single IP address for NTP service, I will suggest you to use Cloudflare’s anycast address 162.159.200.1 and 162.159.200.123.
