# Traceroute from ntppool not working

Anyone knows what happened to [https://trace.ntppool.org/traceroute/(server)](https://trace.ntppool.org/traceroute/(server)) ?

I’m trying to use it but get a 500 error.

Well I guess it was a temporary thing because today it woks 🤷‍♂️

@jfrater No, I saw your message and [fixed it](https://github.com/ntppool/pingtrace/commit/a7f1c62d85d86ac3dc45e9954c1af0738b393bc8), so thank you!

The traceroute server moved to new hardware and the `pingtrace` package wasn’t setup to require `traceroute` being installed.
