# Issue of NTP via USB

I have a camera with USB connection to my core-- jetson nano, the problem is that can I use the NTP to give the time reference to my camera via the USB port? Thx!

Your USB camera probably doesn’t speak NTP, but maybe it does have a custom protocol to set the time.

Thank you for your quick reply, I got SHM(0) and SHM(1) by changing the ntp.conf. But the problem is that the I could not get the signal from NMEA and PPS. I can run gpsd and in the command “cgps”, I can get the PPS signal and NMEA-0183, did you encounter this kind of problem before? Thx!
