I would really like to have a username (“felixonmars” to be specific) as my profile url/server manager id. The auto generated one is really hard to recognize and remember.
I was wondering a similar thing. I thought it was just the difference between having the profile be public vs private but apparently not.
I too would like to know how to request a more memorable pool profile than a random hash number… I see some users have “custom” profile names, as in https://www.ntppool.org/user/nicename
